Dhrona is a 24-hour accountability tracker. From version 1.1, Dhrona requires an account, and the ledger you build is stored on your device and synced to that account. This page explains, plainly, what is stored where.
You sign in with Apple or with Google. We receive a user identifier and, unless you use Apple's Hide My Email, an email address. That is the whole of the account. There is no password to create and no profile to fill in.
Everything you enter — hourly logs, categories, notes, planned blocks — is stored on your iPhone using on-device storage (SwiftData) and an App Group shared with the Dhrona widget. Signing out does not erase it. You can export it to CSV or JSON at any time from within the app, and you choose where that export goes; the export is a local file and is not uploaded anywhere.
Your ledger — the categories you define and the minutes you assign to them, with their notes and timestamps. This is stored on our behalf by Supabase, our hosting provider, and is isolated to your account by row-level security so that no other user can read it. It exists so your history survives a lost or replaced phone.
Dhrona asks for Screen Time (Family Controls) permission to categorize which apps count as wasted time. This is self-monitoring only: you authorize monitoring of your own device, for yourself.
No Screen Time data ever leaves your device. The apps you select are held in an opaque system token that Dhrona itself cannot read, and that token is never transmitted. Dhrona never reads or reports your per-app usage to anyone. What syncs is a number of minutes in a category you named — indistinguishable from an entry you typed by hand.
Dhrona contains no analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party trackers. We do not sell or share your personal information with anyone, and we do not use it to profile or target you.
Settings → Account → Delete account erases your account and everything synced to it. The history already on your phone stays put; deleting the app removes that too.
Dhrona is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
